The Misconducts have transformed countless times over their 20+ year history. Inspired by The Beatles, The Replacements and the Sex Pistols brothers Jimmy and Johnny Walker began to jam in their parents garage at every opportunity. Over the years the band would reinvent themselves with new songs, new members, new band names, but one thing would always remain, the desire play longer and louder than any other band!

The “modern day” Misconducts perform regularly as a cover band for hire, but will often sneak in an original or 2 just for kicks. Great players, great friends, great band. The Current line-up of Johnny Walker on guitar, brother Jimmy Walker on bass, Craig Anselmo on vocals, Glenn Sagman on lead guitar and vocals, and Timmy “the tornado” Busa on drums is pound for pound the strongest and most skilled group they have ever assembled.

In 2001 The Misconducts began recording what would eventually become their first full length release, Daisy Cutter with the help of Engineer and drummer John Simmonds. Finally released in 2008, this compilation of recordings spanning nearly 6 years of recording, is what The Misconducts are all about. Loud, progressive, old school, technical, and straight ahead rock, The Misconducts have every angle covered.

In the spring of 2006 The Misconducts performed their first ever television appearance. Playing a rare all original 5 song set, they knocked off what may have been the greatest performance of their lives. 2 of the songs made it to air including, Two Car Garage and the unreleased I Don’t Mind. Red Eye Express, Rita’s Gone, and Two From The Tailor rounded out the set.

2008 saw the departure of drummer John Simmonds as life would take him on a series of adventures outside of music for the next couple years. This would open the door for occasional fill in drummer, and Assassination drummer Tim Busa to grab hold of the kit permanently, and did he ever. Busa would take the next phase of The Misconducts to a new level all together.

The band would write and gig steadily for the next 2 years before former drummer John Simmonds return to the scene. In the fall of 2009 The Misconducts, along with Simmonds focused solely on the production, began a series of recording sessions featuring 3 new songs, Billy, Hurtz Like Hell, and one untitled song. The 3 songs are unlike any previous, and display the growth and maturity in the song writing. At this point these songs may be the first in what may end up being several session to complete another album. However, and E.P. is likely to be released sometime early in 2010.

The Misconducts are not for the faint of heart. In fact if you have a heart condition it is recommended that you stay clear of them and their music, especially during extreme cold fronts or heat waves. Their music can infect you to the point that you won’t be physically able to stop listening to them even if you want to. Listen at your own risk!
